May...

So another months has come and gone. J is now 7 months old. Not quite crawling but she has her new mode of transportation. Roll and scoot, roll and scoot. She is such a character. She is the light of our lives. Every moment is so precious. Life has been good. I go back to work next week after 6 weeks of recovery. We spent Mother's Day hanging out in La Jolla beach. Other than that, not much else is new. Oh yeah... I have less than 1 year... 349 days to be exact left in "the machine," but who's counting!

Creation is amazing. No, but wait, according to the rest of the world, tack on a few million years and *poof!* life just happens. Perfect organization out of straight-up chaos. Right.

Wow. Sometimes I just love the West Coast.

This adorable little seal pup was just chillin on this rock and showing off for spectators. We were only a few feet away.

Jory loves to pull on tufts of hair.

First time dipping toes in the cold Pacific.

Hmmm, God's Great Big Bath Tub needs a rubber duckie or two.

Cool picture. The beach was littered with tiny clams.

J and mama down by the waves.

Mama, what IS this stuff!!?

The cutest toes in the sand.

Look at me, Daddy!!

What a great way to spend Mother's Day.

Jory's first picnic at the beach. She loves being outdoors!

Can you believe this pumpkin is over 21 pounds? 21 pounds of "sugar!"

J's found a use for this strange object.

Jory has a little buddy... Artemis, aka Boozer. Baby Einstein... it's not just for babies! Also for cats. They love to watch it together.

Jory is not feeling the walk along the bay today. She is not a fan of the wind.

Jory's first bites of homemade tomato sauce. Yummy!

That cold feels so good on my gums! No toofies yet, although they are driving Jory CRAZY (and mama, too).

Jory's so hungry she could eat a plate

Jory bear siting at her favorite "mom and pop's" Italian food where the owners always love to come ooh and aah over her
