Easter Sunday

Easter was a beautiful day. After weeks upon weeks of rain and overcast skies, the brilliant blue sky reappeared and the sunlight was a much needed change from the gloom of the past couple months.

We got some Starbucks and went to church. Our friend Chad came with us. Our church held only one service on Easter, so they had to rent the Cox arena to fit everyone in. I estimate that there were between 8000 and 10,000 people at the Easter Services. Yeah.... wow!

After church, we came home and went back to packing. I had to run pick up a friend at the airport in the afternoon, other than that we were home-bodies the whole rest of the day.

At around 5pm, we went over to our neighbors house to cook out and just relax. The girls are all excited about Priscilla being preggo... I dunno... women get all giddy about that sort of thing, especially when they are in a group. I think it's great.

We had some barbeque and sat around just talking about random thoughts... Christine put some random Latin jazz cd in the player and we all just chilled out.

A great week end.

Now... time to finish packing.
