8 weeks!

Here's P. at 8 weeks and a day [or two]. She is joined by our chosen Midwife, Kim.

We were able to see our baby today and to observe his little heart beating. I say "his" because P. is certain that we are having a boy... mainly due to all the trouble she's had with morning sickness... ect... and she says that only a little boy like his father would be so much trouble.

It is really quite indescribable seeing your baby and watching his little heart beating. Right now our baby is about 2.09 centimeters and growing. That's about the size of a little peanut.

Amazing... this is our little miracle baby.

[I am still holding out for twins... even though Kim said otherwise today after the ultrasound. Hey... one could still be hidden in there, right?]
